Expanding across creative outlets
(Tapping into creativity with a constraint on time sometimes looks like a gouache painting in 45 mins for a competition.)
These past few weeks have been about realising that creativity is not constrainted to a few forms of art. In fact, if you tap into it enough, its accessibility is within reach at any given moment through any medium.
It's either that or I genuinely miss working on artistic endeavours. Regardless, this season of being busy and working on other projects has been a learning curve to embrace whatever life throws at me and turn it into art. Perhaps that is exactly why the first paragraph of this blog also details such a perspective. To view art in the inability to do art.
It's rather twisted yes but it is beautiful in the sense that each season is poetic in its own way and that's exactly how life works, should you actively choose to look at it that way. For this perspective I am often called an idealist. But I'm not too sure if there is anything idealistic about coming to terms with reality but daring to overcome it anyway. If there is anything to it, it is audacious hope that runs directly from my source of life. However, I think that's a conversation for another day. Have a wonderful week ahead! See you soon!
