Why draw, why write, why create?

(A picture to represent the thought- channeling creativity)

I love the brunt of creation. It's messy chaos has learnt to capture my attention. But this I've come to learn only because I realised that the purpose of creation is more important that the skill that is used for creation.

While technicality and mastering a skill is part of creation, if the purpose of creative work is superseded by the nuances of creation, then all meaning is lost. The entirety of a project or creative work is burnt away to the flames of perfectionism and wild tameness. How then can the fullness of meaning be obtained?

This thought wasn't lost on me for quite a bit, back when I first used to aspire a certain of refinement in my craft that I knew I couldn't achieve without failing initially. However, the more I lost at skill but conveyed vision, the more I realised I could make a vague abstract ideal into a tangible thought, and make room for improvement at the same time.

It was creation all the same, messy creation in fact, but creation with a purpose nonetheless.
